My Sister's Sweater

The sweater is progressing nicely. I had 5 skeins of the blue and there are 4 skeins of the turquoise. The turquoise is making up the body of the sweater. I need to knit until 3" from the end and then start the border. I am hoping that there is enough of the upper blue left to do the I-cord edging. Keep your fingers crossed because I can't as it makes it too hard to knit. *giggle*

Here's a fun fact: I hung the sweater on the handles of my two snow shovels. I haven't put them away yet because they are needful things. Yesterday there was hail -- 8" of the stuff. Can you imagine trying to sweep it? Snow shovels work better.

I am linking to On The Needles at Patchwork Times.

I finally put my shovels in the shed. They definitely are needful items. I just hope their need is finished at my house until November!

Love the colors of your sister's sweater.
